Intermittent Connectivity on Campus Networks

Update: We have identified the network communication error responsible for the outage and have applied a workaround to restore full service. This weekend we will be implementing a permanent solution.

We are currently experiencing intermittent connectivity on campus Wi-Fi and wired networks. In some spaces the issue is impacting printing and campus phones. IT Services is investigating the root cause and will provide updates here as we make progress.

Intermittent OneCard Door Access (March 20th)

Print Services - Ongoing Maintenance

On Monday, January 6th all self-service printing will be unavailable for the entire day due to planned maintenance. The Digital Output Centre (DOC) will remain open for custom print orders. Self-service printing will resume on January 7th.

Update: Print services have been restored. Please submit a ticket to IT Services if you experience any issues with printing.

Tuesday, October 15^th: 2^nd floor starting from section A, moving eastward and finishing at section D
Wednesday, October 16^th: 3^rd floor starting from section A, moving eastward and finishing at section D
Thursday, October 17^th: 4^th floor starting from section A, moving eastward and finishing at section D

During these times, wired internet connection will intermittently become unavailable. As an alternative, please connect to our Wi-Fi network. Please check back here for additional updates as the work proceeds.

OneCard Update and Syncing Issue

Please be advised that the JCI (building management entity) network related to OneCard is currently non-functional. As a result, the card access system is operating in standalone mode. This means that access for individuals cannot be updated or modified until the issue is resolved. However the existing cards are functional.

If you have any concerns or issues with accessing doors or spaces, please contact Facilities or security guards.

Software Licensing Outage, August 21st - 30th

Due to scheduled maintenance, there will be intermittent outages while accessing software in our computer labs between August 21st, 12pm and August 24th 12pm. Impacted software titles during this time include Harmony, RhinoCam, TVPaint, Arnold, Houdini, Rhinoceros, Foundry, and Keyshot.

Colleague itself is running properly (Self-Service and MyEC are working etc) – just Colleague UI and login is affected.
